Participation

Active (presenting): Oral or Poster Presentation

To apply for active participation you need to submit your abstract. Our Scientific Committee will assess and select the best abstracts to be presented. Only the best applicants will be invited to give an oral presentation, the remaining participants will be invited to make a poster presentation. Every applicant will receive an e-mail concerning his abstract status.

For poster presenters there is an option to order poster printing and delivery to the seminar venue by WCD Team. If you do not want to take your poster from home, we can print it for you and your poster will wait for you ready at the registration desk. Please contact us via wcdseminar@gmail.com to arrange this service.

Preliminary oral presentation requirements: 5 mins talk in English, Ukrainian or Russian. There are no specifications for your presentation look-like.

Passive (non-presenting)

We invite all interested visitors for passive participation. As a passive participant, you can attend surgery workshops, listen to keynote lectures and young doctors'presentations, attend poster session and social program.

Excepting the possibility to present your own research, you will have access to all events of the Seminar.

Online poster and abstract publication

If you do not have a possibility to come and present your research during #WCD2018, you can apply for this type of participation. You will need to send us your abstract and electronic poster (.jpg picture or short .pptx presentation up to 3 slides) to our e-mail wcdseminar@gmail.com and we will present your research to the audience online (on our web-site and in social networks).

Abstract criteria

Please prepare your abstract according to such rules:

1. Max size is 2500 symbols (with spaces).

2. The structure of the abstract should obligatory be the following:

Title
Name&Surname

Institution, city, country

Keywords (not obligatory).

Background.

Aim.

Materials and methods.

Results.

Conclusions.
